Software Development Engineer

From building intuitive AI web interfaces to writing Python for geoprocessing tools and AI agents, you’ll be exposed to the full development lifecycle and cutting-edge GIS solutions., * Build scalable client and server-side components to author, visualize, and explore data using our graphics and database APIs

• Collaborate on implementation designs with team members and across other teams
• Design, develop, and build frameworks and APIs for internal and external developers
• Contribute to unit tests that back the quality of development
• Work closely with product engineers to innovate, develop, and enhance visualization techniques to interactively explore the spatial data

• Two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation
• Must demonstrate experience in C++, statistical computing, SQL Queries, and relational databases
• Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or a related field

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $177,000-$185,000 USD
