CIO

The CIO reports to the CEO and is a key member of the senior executive team. This an opportunity to be the senior decision maker for all areas of IT; decisions making will frequently be outside area of primary expertise. In addition, the CIO will be actively involved in community activities. The CIO will also serve as the senior IT professional and is the key senior contact with key vendors to ensure they meet their commitments, as well as serving as Chief IT strategist and ensuring a cogent implementable plan to prepare for future IT needs.

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
• CIO or similar leadership experience in a complex healthcare environment
• Ten or more years of experience in management and support of healthcare IT
• Varied IT experience including shared and outsourced solutions
• Experience on an executive leadership team strongly preferred
• Experience with practice management, financial management and clinical management information systems a plus
• Cerner experience a plus
