Graduate Data Engineer

You will be on a development journey to guide your growth into the role of Data Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following:

1. Data Exploitation & Engineering: Extract, clean, and harmonize cross-functional datasets from diverse business areas (Design, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Testing).
2. Decision Support Systems: Design, build, and maintain data inference models and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making across leadership teams.
3. Process Automation: Identify inefficiencies and automate manual data workflows to improve operational speed and data reliability.
4. AI Readiness: Structure, pipeline, and optimize existing data environments to prepare the organization for the seamless implementation of advanced AI and Machine Learning tools.
5. Continuous Improvement: Monitor data quality and governance, ensuring accurate and secure data availability across departments.
6. You will learn to act as the vital link between IT/IM infrastructure and core business units (Engineering, Finance, Operations), translating complex operational needs into scalable data solutions, making the ETL/ELT pipeline design and workflow orchestration, data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts, and about Version control systems (Git). Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position. At the end of the two year development programme, you will have developed into the position of Data Engineer!

An Engineering degree level or equivalent within STEM learning paradigm

• Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of data engineering, data analytics or process automation
• Experience with Power BI (advanced dashboard creation, DAX, and data modeling), SQL, Python or R and Cloud Data rcosystems are a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English). Other languages are a plus
• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
• The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development., This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
