Job description
- We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with IT / Connectivity experience to support the deployment of Smart Torque Tool solutions across manufacturing facilities in North America.
- This role will focus on tool integration, connectivity, system configuration, and manufacturing technology support for smart factory initiatives., * Support integration and deployment of Smart Torque Tool systems across manufacturing plants.
- Evaluate plant infrastructure and connectivity requirements for smart tooling implementations.
- Configure and troubleshoot tool communication, connectivity, and data collection systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and IT teams to ensure successful deployment and integration.
- Support MES, PLC, and industrial network-related activities as needed.
- Assist with implementation planning, validation, and user training.
- Document deployment standards, connectivity requirements, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Support continuous improvement and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, * The ideal candidate will have a blend of manufacturing engineering knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial connectivity and system integration., * Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or industrial connectivity environments.
- Experience with manufacturing systems integration and industrial communication technologies.
- Knowledge of smart manufacturing concepts, data collection systems, or connected tooling.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across North America., * Experience with MES, PLCs, industrial Ethernet, or IoT-enabled manufacturing systems.
- Familiarity with torque tools, assembly systems, or industrial automation technologies.
- Exposure to Industry 4.0 or smart factory implementations preferred.
