Job description

We ARE Renewables is looking for a Solution Architect for one of our clients in the energy sector in the Netherlands As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for the architecture and realization of solutions within the Data-Driven Grid Control domain. You work closely with Business Analysts, Technical Information Analysts, Product Owners, development teams, management teams, and fellow architects. Tasks and Responsibilities

Translating business needs into future-proof solution architectures.
Designing end-to-end solutions for sensors, IoT assets, and measurement chains.
Analyzing the impact on applications, integrations, data sources, OT platforms, and processes.
Developing solution designs, architecture products, and implementation roadmaps.
Monitoring architectural principles, security guidelines, and technical quality.
Advising on network architectures and the security of sensors and field equipment.
Collaborating with Business Analysts and Technical Information Analysts during the development of new asset products.
Guiding development and management teams during implementation and commissioning.
Validating that solutions meet functional, technical, and operational requirements.
Actively managing the realization and adoption of solutions within a complex organization

Requirements

HBO or WO working and thinking level.
At least several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Engineer, or similar architecture role.
Experience within complex enterprise environments.
Knowledge of system integration, APIs, messaging, data flows, and application landscapes.
Experience with IT and OT integration.
Knowledge of on-premises infrastructures and hybrid environments.
Experience with security issues, network architectures, and the security of IoT and sensor chains.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to reduce complex issues to workable solutions.
Experience with stakeholder management at various levels.
Good communication skills and persuasiveness.
