Intermediate - Senior Fpga Engineer H/F

As an FPGA Engineer, you will design and implement high-performance FPGA solutions for our in-house core satellite equipment, with a primary focus on our 2nd generation camera to support our vision-based navigation system. Collaborating closely with electronics, software, and systems engineering teams, you will ensure high levels of efficiency and reliability of mission-critical systems. In this role, you’ll also help build automated CI/CD verification pipelines and modular testbenches to validate designs for spaceflight. This is a hands-on engineering role at the core of our flight system’s operational capability., Profile and analyse the performance of embedded flight software to identify optimisation opportunities.

• Design and implement hardware accelerators in FPGA to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Develop and integrate interfaces between FPGA and other system components to enhance data flow and processing capabilities.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of FPGA solutions with flight software.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of FPGA designs to verify their performance and reliability under mission conditions.
• Develop and maintain robust automated CI/CD verification pipelines and modular testbench frameworks to ensure continuous, high-quality testing and integration of FPGA designs.
• Document design decisions, implementation details, and testing protocols for future reference and compliance purposes.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in FPGA technology and embedded systems to improve system designs and practices continually.
