Job description

Take technical ownership of multiple WordPress websites.
Develop, maintain, and improve the websites.
Work closely with marketing to deliver website changes and new functionality.
Manage WordPress plugins and integrations.
Integrate APIs and third-party services.
Work with internal engineering teams on more complex integrations.
Help bring more website development in-house.

We are a growing residential business based in Alderley Edge offering a hybrid working model with Tuesday to Thursday as core office days. This is an opportunity to take technical ownership of a portfolio of websites, work closely with marketing and internal engineering teams, and help shape and grow our web function over time. The role offers a salary of £50,000-£60,000, flexible start and finish times, a discretionary bonus, increasing holiday allowance with service, Christmas shutdown outside annual leave, free breakfast and lunch, and free on-site parking.

Requirements

Strong senior-level WordPress experience.
PHP and MySQL.
CSS and general front-end development experience.
Experience with WordPress plugins and integrations.
Comfortable integrating APIs into WordPress.
Strong communication skills and comfortable working with non-technical stakeholders.
Self-sufficient, collaborative, and passionate, with the ability to build strong relationships across different teams.
