We have an exciting opportunity for an SAP Principal Consultant - PM to join the IT team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

The SAP team is part of the IT function and plays a key role in optimising and transforming our SAP applications and associated Enterprise Systems. We support business areas such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Capital Delivery and Asset Maintenance/Management. Our team consists of functional and technical consultants, along with support related roles in Project Management, Business Analysis and Service Management, the SAP PM Principal Consultant will play a key role in the SAP team driving business change and being a subject matter expert for the technology within this space.

Where you fit in:

As our SAP Principal Consultant - PM you will:

  • Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Lead change requests, from initial request through to final delivery.
  • Support the configuration, testing, and delivery of changes within S/4HANA, working closely with offshore AMS teams and business users.
  • Ensure all system and process changes are aligned with UK regulations and the existing SAP solution landscape.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between all stakeholders involved.
  • Support project delivery including implementation of new solutions from design through to go-live.
  • Provide technical expertise across the SAP applications within the PM space.
  • Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore AMS providers responsible for system changes and BAU support., and as a trusted advisor to leadership with the Operations function., If successful for the role, you will be required to undergo pre-employment checks that will include a Basic Disclosure Check, carried out through a Third-Party Company, prior to commencing employment. Depending on the role, you may also be required to go through the security vetting process for either a Counter Terrorist Check or Security Check clearance. Requirements

  • Core SAP & PM Expertise (experience of FMS/MRS integration is desirable).
  • Evidence of delivery of robust integrations across PM and third-party cloud systems.
  • Good co-ordination and communication skills with excellent slide, document and spreadsheet skills.
  • Formal qualifications that include SAP PM.
  • Experience of 10-15+ years in SAP PM.
  • Data & Reporting (custom reporting gather requirements and build test and instructing end user use of reports, Strong data governance & GDPR awareness.
