Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer Mechanical Design | Product Development | Manufacturing Our client is seeking a motivated Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate looking to develop their career within a hands-on manufacturing environment. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll support the design and development of engineered products from concept through to production, gaining exposure to the full product life cycle. Key Responsibilities Create SolidWorks 3D models, 2D CAD drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation. Support new product development and continuous improvement projects. Assist with engineering calculations, testing, and product validation. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are production-ready. Support prototype development and new product introduction activities. Maintain accurate engineering drawings and technical documentation.About You Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Experience using SolidWorks and 2D CAD through university projects, placements, internships, or employment. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and design principles. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Full UK driving licence.Desirable Placement year or internship within manufacturing or engineering. Knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DfM), CNC machining, or manufacturing processes.
