Job description

As a UAT Test Analyst, you will plan, manage and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across a portfolio of business-critical projects. You will ensure solutions are thoroughly tested, meet user requirements, and are ready for successful go-live.

You will report into the UAT & Release Manager and work as part of a collaborative team of UAT Test Analysts within the wider Business Applications function. This role is essential in ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of systems that support our organisation’s day-to-day operations.

Your impact in the role:

  • Develop and agree UAT test strategies and plans with project teams and business users
  • Support and lead the creation of test cases and test scripts, ensuring full test coverage
  • Oversee and support test execution, coaching users and ensuring accurate outcomes
  • Take ownership of testing quality and outcomes across projects
  • Maintain dashboards and reports tracking progress, defects, and re-testing activity
  • Work closely with project teams to prioritise and resolve defects
  • Contribute to go-live decisions by providing clear insight into testing readiness
  • Collaborate with Project team to ensure smooth transition into live environment

Requirements

  • ISTQB Foundation Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with structured testing methods and processes (manual and automated)
  • Proven experience delivering UAT within a project environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
