Job description

We’re working with an established consumer-facing organisation that’s investing significantly in the modernisation of its technology landscape.

With a new eCommerce platform, a new third-party logistics partner and an ERP upgrade all being delivered concurrently, the business is now building an internal integration capability to take long-term ownership of how its critical systems connect.

This is not a role where you will simply maintain what already exists.

You will help build the integration layer that keeps orders moving, stock accurate and deliveries going out on time.

The Role

Working within a small and highly capable integration team, you will build, test, deploy and maintain integrations across the company’s:

  • eCommerce and order management platforms
  • Warehouse management and 3PL systems
  • ERP platform
  • Downstream business applications

You will work closely with a newly appointed Technical Lead, alongside QA and Delivery Planning, with genuine ownership of the integrations you develop., * Build and maintain APIs, data flows and middleware integrations

  • Develop and own solutions using Azure Integration Services
  • Support the new warehouse go-live and integration hypercare
  • Monitor live integrations, investigate incidents and resolve failures
  • Build the eCommerce and OMS integration layer
  • Develop ERP integration components from established technical designs
  • Test, deploy and monitor integration pipelines
  • Produce clear runbooks, data flow diagrams and error-handling documentation
  • Work closely with internal teams and external delivery partners
  • Participate in an on-call rota during peak trading periods

Requirements

You will have:

  • Commercial experience building integrations in a production environment
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, Service Bus or a comparable integration platform
  • Strong experience working with REST APIs, JSON and XML
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, API keys and common authentication patterns
  • Experience building event-driven flows or middleware pipelines
  • A strong debugging mindset and the ability to resolve integration failures properly
  • The confidence to work independently and take ownership of delivery

Experience integrating ERP, eCommerce, OMS, warehouse or logistics platforms would be highly advantageous.
