This role partners with Global Commerce, regional business teams, IT, Product, BI/EDAI, Finance, Marketing, and other stakeholders to establish consistent measurement practices, deliver reporting solutions, support analytics-platform launches, and enable effective use of data across regions.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with business, technology, analytics, Finance, Product, Marketing, and regional teams to gather, prioritize, and document analytics requirements.
  • Own and maintain the global eCommerce measurement plan, KPI definitions, reporting roadmap, analytics standards, and improvement backlog.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and executive-ready analyses for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Analyze traffic, engagement, conversion, orders, sales, customer behavior, product performance, and operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights, recommendations, and actions for leaders and regional teams.
  • Monitor data quality, reporting accuracy, anomalies, tagging issues, and performance changes; coordinate resolution with technical and business partners.
  • Support analytics-platform implementations and enhancements from requirements and solution design through testing, launch, and post-launch support.
  • Coordinate tagging, data validation, dashboard configuration, reporting requirements, user access, and launch readiness.
  • Train regional stakeholders on analytics tools, eCommerce metrics, dashboards, benchmarks, and performance interpretation.
  • Create reusable templates, job aids, FAQs, and training materials that improve adoption and self-service capabilities.
  • Serve as a primary contact for regional questions related to reporting, metrics, data quality, dashboards, and eCommerce performance.
  • Lead or support projects by managing scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, status reporting, budgets, and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, information systems, marketing, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or data-driven business operations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, interpreting, and communicating business performance insights.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and BI/reporting tools such as Cognos and Tableau, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce, digital commerce, marketing analytics, customer experience, or a related field.
  • Understanding of the automotive industry and the evolving digital commerce landscape.
  • Experience defining KPIs, developing measurement frameworks, improving data quality, and documenting reporting requirements.
  • Experience supporting analytics implementations, platform launches, system enhancements, or business-process changes.
  • Experience working with global or geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to explain complex data and technical concepts to executives, business users, and technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in an ambiguous environment.

What Can Give You a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with Shopify or another enterprise eCommerce platform.
  • Experience with digital or web analytics, site tagging, data layers, or customer-journey measurement
  • Working knowledge of SQL, data modeling, data warehouses, APIs, or analytics engineering concepts
  • Experience supporting international markets, multiple currencies, localized customer journeys, or regional operating models.
  • Experience developing training programs, job aids, enablement plans, or communities of practice
  • Experience with Agile delivery, requirements management, user acceptance testing, change management, or process improvement.
  • Experience applying AI or automation to reporting, analytics enablement, data quality, or operational support.
