Job description

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering, business intelligence, SQL, Python, cloud technologies, and dashboard development., * Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple business systems and data sources.

  • Design, optimize, and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Build and maintain semantic models for analytics and reporting.
  • Create and support dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation standards.
  • Improve data infrastructure and recommend modern analytics solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI Development, or Analytics Engineering.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale transactional and operational datasets.
  • Experience developing dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

  • Retail industry experience.
  • Experience with Oracle Retail, Shopify, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of omnichannel retail operations.
  • Exposure to predictive analytics, machine learning, or advanced reporting solutions.
  • Experience with modern data lake/lakehouse architectures.
