Job description

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering, business intelligence, SQL, Python, cloud technologies, and dashboard development., * Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple business systems and data sources.

Design, optimize, and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based data platforms.
Build and maintain semantic models for analytics and reporting.
Create and support dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
Collaborate with business teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation standards.
Improve data infrastructure and recommend modern analytics solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI Development, or Analytics Engineering.
Strong SQL and Python skills.
Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
Hands-on experience with large-scale transactional and operational datasets.
Experience developing dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

Retail industry experience.
Experience with Oracle Retail, Shopify, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of omnichannel retail operations.
Exposure to predictive analytics, machine learning, or advanced reporting solutions.
Experience with modern data lake/lakehouse architectures.
