How You Will Make An Impact
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain production-ready software applications across web, analytical, and database-driven environments.
- Build reliable, user-friendly solutions using Node.js, modern front-end JavaScript frameworks, TypeScript/JavaScript, and SQL Server.
- Translate business requirements and user stories into scalable technical designs and documented software solutions.
- Improve and maintain existing applications while troubleshooting production issues and leading root-cause analysis.
- Validate applications for functional accuracy, mathematical correctness, performance, efficiency, and stability.
- Follow established engineering standards and architecture practices involving Git, JIRA, web technologies, source control, and software archiving processes.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen development standards, application performance, and engineering best practices.
- Provide technical direction and development guidance to other software engineers.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of related professional software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Strong proficiency with SQL Server, including development of database-driven applications.
- Experience with Angular 10+ or comparable modern frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript development skills.
- Experience developing and supporting applications in Linux environments.
- Strong mathematical aptitude, particularly when validating calculations and analytical application outputs.
- Demonstrated experience writing maintainable, documented, production-quality code.
- Ability to independently analyze requirements, create technical designs, troubleshoot issues, and deliver software through the SDLC.
- Strong problem-solving ability with experience conducting root-cause analysis.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and collaborate effectively with developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Perl, C/C++, Bootstrap, CSS, or HTML is advantageous.
