We are currently seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).
Financial Services Business Consulting - Technical Program Manager - currently residing in Charlotte or Atlanta
NTT DATA is searching for a professional with technology programing manager expertise and senior business consulting experience who currently lives in Charlotte, NC, or Atlanta, GA, but has the desire and capability to travel to client offices to work with stakeholders in-person.
With your Technology Program Manager expertise, you will be responsible for driving positive outcomes for strategic technology objectives through thought leadership, organizational design, management, execution and delivery. You will be responsible for providing oversight and accountability for technology projects and programs of varying sizes, including transformational initiatives, with a focus on risk identification and remediation. You will influence and lead large-scale change initiatives. You will also be responsible for program financials, resource management and allocation, portfolio health, and executive reporting.
Due to your Senior Business Consultant capabilities, you understand client problems stated or implied, identify and recommend solutions to achieve business objectives. You also succinctly present solution proposals to existing and prospective clients., The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
- Provide leadership to direct reports and oversee the strategy, planning and implementation of technology initiatives
- Partner closely with technology leaders, business leaders and subject matter experts to develop program execution strategies, plans and timelines
- Define, develop and implement an effective program operating model and governance framework to drive consistency of delivery across all workstreams
- Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
- Proactively monitor and address any risks or issues that could compromise on-time delivery, escalating as needed to minimize impacts
- Facilitate and lead program meetings to solicit and provide status updates to key stakeholders, technology and business leadership
- Create, execute and monitor program level communication, quality and change management strategies
- Manage project deadlines, budgets, delivery and acceptance of program deliverables ensuring high quality
- Adhere to client project management and technology delivery lifecycle processes, standards and guidelines
- Document client problem statements and impacts to their business
- Define complex business/technology solutions to address client needs
- Create client presentations and proposals with clear storylines outlining recommendations and resolutions
Requirements
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Proven track record of excellent project delivery, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
- Partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels to manage, inform and influence outcomes
- Desire and ability to develop project and program deliverables with the ability to coach and develop high-performing project teams
- Executive level verbal and written communication skills, ability to translate technical jargon into simplified and concise communications
- Executive presence with exceptional articulation, * Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in technology delivery experience
- 5+ years of technology or business consulting
- 10+ years of Project Management experience in a technology environment
- 5+ years of Program Management experience in a technology environment
- Initial ability to travel to client locations at least 50% of the time for project delivery work, * Experience delivering project and programs in the Banking and Financial Services Industry
- Demonstrated understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, and needs
- Experience implementing large and complex initiatives within a multi-vendor, matrixed organization
- Strong skills in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project)
- Strong grasp of project management and technology development lifecycle
Benefits & conditions
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $169,088-$313,125. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position in the United States. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
