Job description

Data Engineer will help build a modern, cloud native data and analytics platform centered around technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Snaplogic, and Python.

Requirements

A bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or a similar field 10 + years of data and software engineering experience including technical leadership Strong Python programming skills with a focus on data engineering and data pipeline development Expertise in ETL development using DBT, Snowflake, Snaplogic or similar tools Strong skills in data modeling, building operational data stores and data warehouses Excellent SQL skills, developing SQL stored procedures and functions Strong hands-on experience in designing, building and maintaining AWS native applications Hands-on experience with scheduling tools such as Airflow or Control-M Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working in an Agile environment utilizing agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) is a plus Experience in data analytics building reports, dashboards, and visualizations with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus Experience working in the Asset management industry is a plus
