Job description
System Architecture & Solution Design
- Design subsystem solutions aligned with project requirements and technical objectives.
- Identify gaps between project requirements and standard products and develop appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with system and engineering teams to develop innovative technical approaches.
- Define application rules, engineering processes, and architectural standards.
- Integrate individual solution components into a functional, cohesive system.
Subsystem Management
- Oversee subsystem activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure subsystem solutions remain aligned with project requirements and technical standards.
- Plan subsystem migration, deployment, and implementation strategies.
- Monitor technical progress and address architecture-related risks and issues.
Integration & Interfaces
- Control and coordinate internal and external system interfaces.
- Coordinate development, system integration, and verification and validation activities.
- Work closely with project, system, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex system issues.
Software & Technical Development
- Contribute to the development and integration of SCADA, Automated Train Supervision (ATS), and management systems.
- Apply software development and debugging expertise to support system architecture and integration.
- Evaluate technologies and technical solutions to meet functional and performance requirements.
Engineering Processes & Documentation
- Establish and maintain engineering processes and application rules.
- Support requirements management, configuration management, and technical documentation.
- Participate in Agile/SCRUM activities and cross-functional technical reviews.
- Ensure appropriate engineering and architectural documentation is maintained throughout project execution.
Cybersecurity & System Reliability
- Apply cybersecurity principles to system architecture and development activities.
- Support the design of secure, reliable, and maintainable control center systems.
- Identify potential technical and cybersecurity risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Supervision Control Center (SCC) Management System Architect to lead the architecture, integration, and management of complex control center solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong systems architecture and software development experience, with the ability to translate project requirements into scalable, reliable, and integrated subsystem solutions., * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, software development, or a closely related field.
- Strong experience designing and integrating complex software or control systems.
- Proficiency in C#, SQL, SQL Server, and software debugging.
- Familiarity with OPC UA/DA, SNMP, XML, HAProxy, MQTT, and web HMI technologies.
- Experience with configuration management and software development tools such as GitLab.
- Experience with tracking and project management tools such as Jira, ClearQuest, or RTC.
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS.
- Strong understanding of system integration, interfaces, and verification and validation.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple technical priorities within complex project environments.
- Experience with railway systems, systems engineering, or large-scale control center environments is highly desirable.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Professional engineering or relevant technical certification.
- Agile/SCRUM certification.
- Cybersecurity certification.
- Systems architecture or software development certifications.
