Senior Information Systems Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Systems Security Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, cybersecurity, and systems engineering. This role requires a deep understanding of security protocols, threat detection, and mitigation strategies., * Design and implement security solutions to protect organizational data and systems

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff on security best practices
• Stay current with emerging security threats and trends

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in information security or related role
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM preferred
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, networks, and security tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
