- Lead the execution and acceleration of GSKâs Hematology business, with specific focus on the multiple myeloma space, ensuring clear alignment to organizational goals, brand priorities, and sales performance expectations.
- Translate national strategy into practical, high-impact area and regional execution plans that improve customer engagement, account pull-through, and patient impact.
- Drive launch execution across the Hematology field organization, including customer targeting, local market prioritization, resource deployment, and KPI tracking.
- Build and implement tactical plans that address marketplace opportunities, execution gaps, competitive dynamics, and barriers to performance.
- Ensure the field organization is deeply accountable for execution metrics, business objectives, and performance outcomes.
- Leverage technology and AI to improve customer interactions while driving adoption of new tools.
- Drive a positive culture for your Regional Sales Directors and Oncology Account Managers.
Know the Business Deeply - Local, Regional, and National Market Command
- Maintain a detailed understanding of the Hematology and multiple myeloma marketplace, including treatment trends, competitive dynamics, referral pathways, customer decision-making, account-level opportunities, and evolving patient and account influences.
- Dive deeply into local and regional market performance to identify opportunities, diagnose barriers, and develop targeted plans to accelerate growth.
- Integrate regional healthcare ecosystem trends into business planning, including academic accounts, community oncology networks, IDN, pathway dynamics, access considerations, local influencers, and competitive behavior.
- Prioritize and customize field resources, people, promotional investment, and account focus based on local and regional market opportunity and business need.
- Use data, field insights, and market intelligence to challenge assumptions, sharpen strategy, and improve execution quality.
Executive-Level Business Planning, Presentation, and Pull-Through
- Develop clear, actionable business plans that connect national strategy to regional execution and measurable performance improvement.
- Regularly present to senior Oncology leadership, including the VP of Sales and Head of OBU on business performance, marketplace dynamics, risks, opportunities, and tactical plans to accelerate results.
- Bring strong executive presence and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex business issues, communicate clear recommendations, and align stakeholders around action.
- Demonstrate the ability to move from insight to action quickly - identifying what is working, what is not, and what must change to improve performance.
Lead and Develop a High-Performing Hematology Field Organization
- Set direction, inspire, and lead a high-performing Hematology sales organization with a strong culture of accountability, engagement, coaching, and continuous improvement.
- Develop first-line leaders and sales professionals to maximize individual and team potential.
- Create a coaching culture that improves capability, strengthens execution, and delivers exceptional regional and area-level results.
- Attract, develop, and retain diverse talent, building a strong leadership pipeline for the Hematology business and broader GSK Oncology organization.
- Lead through change with clarity, urgency, and inspiration, ensuring teams understand the business priorities and their role in delivering results.
Cross-Functional Leadership and Enterprise Collaboration
- Partner closely with Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Patient Services, Sales Operations, Training, and other matrix partners to drive coordinated execution at the account level.
- Translate brand strategy into field execution while ensuring insights from the field are brought back into strategy discussions.
Compliance, Risk Management, and Values-Based Leadership
- Role model GSK expectations and reinforce a culture that is ambitious for patients, accountable for impact, and committed to doing the right thing.
- Identify and manage business, compliance, and execution risks while ensuring appropriate escalation and follow-up.

Are you an experienced Hematology sales leader with experience in the multiple myeloma space? We are looking for an experienced second-line leader with a track record of building high-performing teams, launching complex oncology products, including in multiple myeloma, and accelerating performance in competitive oncology markets? GSKâs Oncology organization is seeking a Field Vice President, Hematology to lead with enterprise mindset, strong commercial discipline, and deep experience in the multiple myeloma marketplace.
This role is designed for an experienced second-line or senior commercial leader who can operate at both a strategic and executional level - translating enterprise and brand priorities into actionable regional plans, deeply understanding local and regional market dynamics, and ensuring consistent pull-through across field teams, cross-functional partners, and key customer segments.
The Field Vice President, Hematology will be accountable for leading performance across the Hematology business, with a specific focus on launch excellence, marketplace acceleration, business planning, talent development, and disciplined execution. This leader must demonstrate strong clinical and commercial acumen, exceptional presentation skills, and the ability to regularly engage senior leaders - including the Head of Oncology Business Unit and Sales Vice President - with clear tactical plans to achieve accelerated performance., We are looking for professionals with the following required skills and experience:
- Bachelorâs degree.
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech commercial experience with at least 3+ years of second line leadership experience.
- Experience leading teams selling in the multiple myeloma space.
- Experience leading product launches or launch acceleration in a specialty or oncology environment.
- Valid driverâs license and safe driving record.
- Ability to travel domestically, including overnight travel up to 35%.
Preferred Qualification:
The following characteristics would be a plus:
- Advanced degree, including MBA, PharmD, or advanced clinical/science degree.
- Experience managing a P&L
- Expertise launching products in Oncology, preferrable in the multiple myeloma space.
- Home Office experience in Marketing, Sales Operations, Market Access, Commercial Strategy, or related function.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze local and regional market dynamics and develop tactical plans that accelerate performance.
- Strong executive presentation skills, including experience presenting business performance, marketplace insights, and action plans to senior leaders.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functionally across commercial, medical, market access, patient services, operations, training, legal, compliance, and other enterprise partners.
- Strong business planning capability, including ability to translate strategy into execution, KPIs, and measurable performance outcomes.
