Job description

  • Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB database environments.
  • Implement and assess database DISA STIGs, execute IAVA patching, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Troubleshoot critical database issues and write advanced SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, and maintenance scripts., * Implement and maintain DISA STIGs and database security controls for relational and NoSQL platforms.
  • Perform routine vulnerability scans, document POA&Ms, and support RMF processes and ATO package submissions.
  • Collaborate with Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) to validate and report compliance against SRG/STIG baselines.
  • Apply Oracle CPU patches, IAVA patches, and perform routine database upgrades and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database incidents and perform backup and recovery operations.
  • Modify and develop database scripts and SQL/PLSQL queries to support operational and ad-hoc requirements.
  • Provide cyber oversight and risk impact assessments for proposed database and system change requests.

  • Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Years of experience: 5+ years
  • Total Compensation: $190k+ yearly (tentative)
