Job description

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile/Scrum practices and help cross-functional teams deliver high-quality projects on time. The ideal candidate will have strong experience leading Agile teams, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement., * Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams.

Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.
Coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles, practices, and methodologies.
Remove impediments and proactively resolve issues that impact team productivity.
Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, and other stakeholders.
Track sprint progress, team velocity, burndown, and other Agile metrics.
Promote transparency, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
Help teams maintain a healthy and sustainable delivery cadence.
Support backlog refinement and ensure stories are adequately prepared for upcoming sprints.
Facilitate communication between technical and business teams.
Assist Product Owners with prioritization and backlog management.
Identify opportunities to improve team processes and Agile maturity.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager.
Strong hands-on experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and managing Agile teams.
Strong understanding of SDLC and software development processes.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.
Strong communication, facilitation, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work effectively with distributed and cross-functional teams.
Experience tracking Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and sprint progress.
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or similar Agile certification.
Experience working in enterprise IT/software development environments.
Experience managing multiple teams or complex projects.
Knowledge of Kanban, SAFe, or other Agile frameworks is a plus., * Must be able to work in Minneapolis, MN as required by the client.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Must be available for a W2 contract.
