Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Data Center & DMZ Network Technology Operations Specialist II (contract) to join a global Network Operations team supporting critical Data Center and DMZ infrastructure. This is a highly operational, production-focused Tier 2 role, responsible for incident response, service restoration, troubleshooting and day-to-day operational support across a large-scale network environment.

You’ll support Cisco ASR/ISR, Cisco Nexus/Catalyst and Arista DCS/CloudVision platforms, responding to production incidents, leading technical triage and coordinating with relevant teams to restore services. You’ll also carry out proactive network reviews, monitoring and disaster recovery testing, while maintaining operational documentation, runbooks and governance standards.

The role requires strong ownership, excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively during high-impact production incidents. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, technical teams and business stakeholders in a global environment, with flexibility around working hours and weekend work required., * Provide day-to-day Tier 2 production and operational network support.

  • Lead incident triage, troubleshooting and service restoration.
  • Monitor network health, alerts, dashboards and logs.
  • Support Cisco and Arista network infrastructure.
  • Coordinate production incidents with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Perform proactive network reviews and disaster recovery testing.
  • Maintain operational runbooks, documentation and governance.
  • Identify recurring issues, vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Network Operations/Production Support environments.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, VPN, ACLs and Layer 2.
  • Experience with Cisco ASR/ISR, Nexus/Catalyst and Arista DCS/CloudVision.
