Director, Platform Software Engineering - Remote

We’re looking for a Senior Director, Platform Product Engineering to lead the vision, strategy, and development of our Agentic Service Catalog, a platform that helps employees and teams achieve outcomes more easily by connecting people, processes, data, automation, and AI.

This is a unique role that combines product leadership with hands-on engineering. You’ll define the product direction, work with business and technical partners, and help build the platform. You’ll lead a team while remaining involved in architecture, coding, integrations, and AI-powered experiences.

Reporting to the Vice President of Intelligent Automation & Data Platforms, you’ll help shape how users work with technology across the organization.

Lead Product

• Lead the product vision, roadmap, priorities, and success metrics for the Service Catalog platform.
• Translate our needs and user feedback into product enhancements and new capabilities.

Build the Platform

• Contribute directly to the development of the platform.
• Review and write production-quality code across front-end applications, APIs, integrations, workflows, and AI-powered features.
• Partner with architects and engineers to create scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Prototype new ideas and help turn successful concepts into production-ready capabilities.

Shape AI-Powered Experiences

• Identify opportunities where AI can improve user experiences and outcomes.
• Help design intelligent capabilities such as recommendations, workflow assistance, decision support, and contextual guidance.
• Define how AI works with users, including transparency, approvals, explanations, and human oversight.
• Ensure AI solutions are safe, responsible, and aligned with our requirements.

Measure Success

• Define and track important product metrics, including adoption, user satisfaction, workflow completion, operational efficiency, and revenue .
• Improve the platform based on data, customer feedback, and evolving our needs., Own and expand customer relationships across the Western United States for a cloud-based healthcare genomics platform. Drive adoption, usage, and account growth within hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare organizations; identify expansion opportunities; navigate complex stakeholder groups; provide account support; and partner with sales teams on customer meetings and commercial development. The field-based role requires approximately 30-40% territory travel.

• Experience leading both product strategy and software engineering teams.
• Full-stack development background with experience building scalable platforms and APIs.
• Experience working with AI-enabled products, automation, and modern cloud technologies.
• Translate complex technical concepts into simple, user-focused solutions., * 8+ years of people leadership and management experience.
• 8+ years of experience building and delivering platform-based software products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Turn complex challenges into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and user-focused solutions.
• Hands-on software engineering experience with modern web applications, APIs, integrations, and workflow platforms.
• Experience developing across both front-end and back-end technologies, such as React, TypeScript, Python, or similar modern technology stacks.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs and connecting multiple systems into seamless user experiences.
• Experience applying AI, machine learning, large language models (LLMs), automation, or intelligent workflow technologies to solve business problems.
• Comfortable leading engineering teams while remaining involved in architecture, design reviews, and hands-on development.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
