Requirements
Overview: Looking for a Migration Deployment Specialist (IZWS) to lead mainframe batch scheduling conversions to enterprise workload automation platforms. Must be an SME in scheduling migrations, with strong z/OS expertise, analytical skills, and ability to collaborate across development, test, and production sysplex environments., * Mainframe batch scheduling migration (CA7, ESP, Jobtrac, ControlM IZWS)
- z/OS, OS/390, sysplex environments
- TSO/ISPF utilities, dataset manipulation
- JCL (expertlevel troubleshooting & structure)
- REXX scripting (automation support)
- Dynamic Workload Console navigation & analysis
- Schedule validation, dependency resolution, parallel tracking cycles
- Documentation, procedures, training delivery
- Strong communication & stakeholder collaboration
Experience:
- 5+ years mainframe (OS/390, z/OS)
- 5+ years workload automation/job scheduling platforms
- Proven migration execution across dev/test/prod environments
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
