Backend/API Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, and retrospectives.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend/API Developer with a strong background in Agile methodologies to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in backend development and API design, demonstrating a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment., * Strong knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in microservices architecture.
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of professional experience in backend development and API design.
• Proven track record of working in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
