Job description

The Azure Cloud Architect will design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure cloud solutions that drive digital transformation and operational efficiency for a large-scale enterprise., * Architect, design, and implement Azure-based solutions to meet business and technical requirements across large-scale enterprise operations.
Lead cloud transformation initiatives, including migration of on-premises workloads to Azure and adoption of cloud-native services.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and GitHub for version control and CI/CD automation.
Design and deploy AI and data services on Azure, supporting advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation use cases.
Ensure all solutions are secure, compliant, highly available, and cost-optimized across the environment.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate Azure services with existing enterprise systems.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams and third-party partners.
Document architectural designs, standards, and operational procedures, and stay current with Azure innovations and cloud-native patterns.

Requirements

10 years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or operations with a focus on Microsoft Azure in large enterprise environments.
Strong background in automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and DevOps practices.
Hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC and GitHub for source control and automation pipelines.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement AI/ML resources and workflows on Azure.
Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization (e.g., AKS, Docker).
Associate’s degree in any field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience designing and deploying solutions using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and AI services.
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer).
Experience in the Client industry or other large-scale manufacturing or retail environments.
Familiarity with hybrid cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Arc, Azure Stack).
Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
