Requirements

To complete our Service Store team, we are looking for a DevOps engineer who thinks from the user’s point of view and is a proactive team player. You not only focus on the technical aspects of the work at hand but also have an eye for the broader picture. Besides that, you are curious about how others are doing, bring sharpness to the discussion and challenge your colleagues. Open-Source software must trigger you and AWS/Azure are familiar to you. It’s nice if you’re Full Stack, but the focus will be on Front End. Knowledge of the Backstage open-source framework is very much welcome. Hard skills in general:

  • CI/CD setup, monitoring, infra as code
  • Document database such as AWS DocumentDB or similar
  • AWS cloud infrastructure (AI Gateway, Lambda)
  • Azure DevOps
  • REST API Integration
  • Authentication & Authorization (Oauth, JWT, OpenID)
  • Playwright testing. Nice to have:

  • Experience with Backstage Knowledge and experience:

  • Academic working and thinking level
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar roles within complex IT environments
  • Knowledge of and experience with DevOps teams and scaled Agile
  • Relevant experience with issues in complex, preferably non-standardized, environments
  • You develop with a vision and can convey it with passion
  • Relevant experience in the field of software development and management, that also entails coming up with solutions and writing user stories
  • Demonstrable affinity and passion for digitization and Cloud technology
  • Proficiency in English (business level, writing and speaking)

You & your role As DevOps Engineer - Store, you know the secrets of building products that feel simple in a complex engineering landscape. You help expand Rabobank’s Service Store, making IT services easier to find, reuse and improve. You work mainly on the front end, while keeping the full product in view: from user needs and service insights to secure, scalable delivery in the cloud.   • Improving the Service Store so engineers can find and reuse Rabobank-wide IT services more easily.
  • Building clear user journeys in Nexa, the central place for IT, together with service providers and engineering teams.

  • Build and improve front-end features for the Service Store, using technologies such as React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
