Job description

We are supporting a leading national organisation through a major systems transformation project and are seeking a Data Coordinator to play a critical role in preparing, validating, and maintaining high-quality data across People, Payroll, and Finance functions. As Data Coordinator, you will be responsible for cleansing, validating, and coordinating business-critical data to support a successful system implementation., * Cleanse, validate, and maintain HR, payroll, and finance data.

  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplication, and quality issues.
  • Produce data validation reports and highlight risks or concerns.
  • Support data migration, system testing, and implementation activities.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate migrated data.
  • Work collaboratively with People, Payroll, and Finance teams to reconcile and verify information.
  • Develop and maintain data standards, procedures, and documentation.
  • Recommend and support process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience working with HR, Payroll, or Finance data
  • Previous involvement in system implementation or data migration projects
  • Advanced or intermediate Excel skills and confidence handling large datasets
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently while building effective relationships across teams
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
