Job description

As Director, Procurement - Technology Software, you will lead procurement strategy for the Enterprise Software category within Digital & Technology Procurement. You will manage a portfolio of up to £80 million and work with senior stakeholders and strategic technology partners to deliver value, strengthen supply resilience and support GSK’s business priorities., * Create and deliver global sourcing strategies for the Enterprise Software portfolio, balancing cost, quality, service, innovation, compliance and security of supply.

  • Partner with senior Digital & Technology stakeholders to understand priorities, identify opportunities and demonstrate the value Procurement can bring.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and build strategic relationships with key suppliers at senior level.
  • Develop clear business cases for change, secure stakeholder approval and agree how benefits will be measured and delivered.
  • Lead cross-functional category activity with Finance and other partner functions, ensuring local business requirements are reflected in global decisions.
  • Lead and develop procurement colleagues within your area, building the capability needed to deliver GSK’s strategy now and in the future.

Requirements

This is a global leadership role for an experienced procurement professional who combines strong commercial judgement with deep technology market knowledge. You will build trusted relationships, lead complex negotiations and translate business needs into practical sourcing strategies., * A degree or equivalent practical experience in supply chain, business, finance or a related area.

  • Significant procurement experience, including responsibility for complex, high-value categories or supplier portfolios.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technology procurement, ideally including enterprise software.
  • Experience developing and delivering multi-year category or sourcing strategies that create measurable business value.
  • A strong record of leading complex negotiations and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to assess market drivers, business priorities, risk and implementation considerations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and developing people or category teams in a global, matrix environment.
  • Experience with end-to-end service or operations management and technology sourcing tools.
