Job description
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware for telecommunications and networking products.
- Design and implement device drivers, board support packages (BSPs), and low-level software.
- Support board bring-up, hardware validation, and system integration efforts.
- Debug firmware and hardware interactions using industry-standard lab tools.
- Develop software for Linux and RTOS-based embedded systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware issues throughout development and production.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams on new product development.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to product architecture discussions.

Requirements
- 10+ years of embedded firmware or embedded software development experience.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
- Strong experience with C/C++ programming in embedded environments.
- Experience developing device drivers and low-level software.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Experience with board bring-up, hardware debugging, and embedded system integration.
- Understanding of networking protocols and telecommunications systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across both firmware and hardware environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- Salary range: $115,000 - $145,000 annually based on experience
