Job description

Develop and maintain embedded firmware for telecommunications and networking products.
Design and implement device drivers, board support packages (BSPs), and low-level software.
Support board bring-up, hardware validation, and system integration efforts.
Debug firmware and hardware interactions using industry-standard lab tools.
Develop software for Linux and RTOS-based embedded systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve firmware issues throughout development and production.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams on new product development.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to product architecture discussions.

Requirements

10+ years of embedded firmware or embedded software development experience.
Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
Strong experience with C/C++ programming in embedded environments.
Experience developing device drivers and low-level software.
Hands-on experience with Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Experience with board bring-up, hardware debugging, and embedded system integration.
Understanding of networking protocols and telecommunications systems.
Ability to troubleshoot issues across both firmware and hardware environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Salary range: $115,000 - $145,000 annually based on experience
