Job description

  • Develop and maintain embedded firmware for telecommunications and networking products.
  • Design and implement device drivers, board support packages (BSPs), and low-level software.
  • Support board bring-up, hardware validation, and system integration efforts.
  • Debug firmware and hardware interactions using industry-standard lab tools.
  • Develop software for Linux and RTOS-based embedded systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve firmware issues throughout development and production.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams on new product development.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to product architecture discussions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of embedded firmware or embedded software development experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
  • Strong experience with C/C++ programming in embedded environments.
  • Experience developing device drivers and low-level software.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
  • Experience with board bring-up, hardware debugging, and embedded system integration.
  • Understanding of networking protocols and telecommunications systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues across both firmware and hardware environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
