Job description

MQR group is currently seeking a highly motivated, quality-focused individual to contribute technical expertise as a full-time Manufacturing Quality & Reliability Engineer in the NTI/NPI Team. This individual is responsible for coordinating and executing the qualification of new semiconductor products and technologies from development through mass production. This position is expected to identify, understand and fill gaps during technology development or newly introduced products prior to mass production.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Responsible for successful New Product Introduction (NPI) qualification and Mass Production (MP) readiness for various products and technology nodes.
  • Lead review board meetings providing technical feedback to stakeholders and communicate technical information to senior leadership.
  • Responsible for reviewing and monitoring data for gaps to support products prior to mass production using statistical analysis.
  • Develop risk assessment tools and enhance procedures for introducing new technology nodes or products.
  • Drive fab-wide efforts to enhance defense lines and develop data analysis scripts/dashboards to monitor various quality KPIs.
  • Interact with local expats and QR teams in Korea to bench mark & implement Quality improvement and excursion prevention activities (fab-to-fab matching).
  • Drive root cause corrective actions (RCCA/8D) for issues identified during FAB qualification phase to secure mass production quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Mathematics or related field is required.
  • Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies: SPC, FMEA, DOE, 8D problem-solving, and statistical analysis
  • Working knowledge of process integration, yield and/or various fab processes (i.e., thin films deposition, litho-graphy, etch, diffusion etc.)

Benefits & conditions

The current base salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $120,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
