Job description

As a Technical Lead, you will partner closely with executive leadership to evaluate technology investments, modernize enterprise applications, and recommend solutions that align business objectives with technical capabilities. You will serve as a trusted advisor across application development, integrations, vendor management, and architecture discussions, helping teams make informed decisions that balance cost, risk, scalability, and long-term business value.

Requirements

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

o Active Public Trust clearance

o 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, supporting, or modernizing enterprise technology solutions.

o 3+ years of experience serving as a Technical Lead, SME, Solutions Lead, or similar role responsible for guiding technical direction, actively participating in software development activities to include hands on keyboard development, and influencing business outcomes.

o Experience evaluating business requirements, identifying risks, and recommending technology solutions that align with organizational goals and operational needs.

o Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, systems integration, networking fundamentals, security concepts, and data flow across interconnected platforms.

o Experience partnering with executives, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to assess solution options and drive informed technology decisions.

o Ability to evaluate technology investments and make recommendations based on cost, scalability, maintainability, risk, vendor lock-in, and long-term business impact.

o Experience facilitating technical discussions across software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, and third-party solution providers.

o Strong understanding of Microsoft technology ecosystems, including .NET applications, SQL Server, APIs, cloud services, and enterprise integration patterns.

o Experience translating complex business challenges into practical technical solutions and effectively communicating recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

o Proven ability to ask effective discovery questions, challenge assumptions, identify root causes, and develop strategic recommendations.

o Experience working within Agile environments and collaborating with business analysts, Scrum Masters, developers, QA teams, and infrastructure teams.

o Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience developing executive briefings, technical recommendations, white papers, architecture guidance, or strategy documents. o Master’s degree or similar advanced degree in an IT-related discipline preferred.

o Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, or Sapiens, including workflows, forms, CRM entities, API integrations, webhooks, custom modules, HubL, and data synchronization.

o Experience implementing solutions using out-of-the-box CRM functionality, custom configurations, and custom code where required.

o Experience with SSRS, document generation, email/print workflows, or third-party fulfillment integrations.

o Experience with Serilog or similar .NET structured logging frameworks.

o Familiarity with legacy modernization efforts, including stabilizing older applications while transitioning toward modern .NET, API, and data integration patterns.

o Experience supporting vendor management, solution evaluation, technical due diligence, or third-party implementation oversight.

o Experience working with business stakeholders to determine whether requirements should be solved through platform configuration, workflow changes, integrations, reporting, data cleanup, or custom application development.

o Familiarity with insurance, financial services, membership organizations, policy administration, or other environments handling sensitive customer or member data.
