Tesla isseeking a talented and driven Quality Systems Engineer to join our Energy Remanufacturing team in Sparks, Nevadaandassist in developing,implementingand maintainingqualitysystems. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled quality professional to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and collaborative manufacturing environment.This positioninvolvesidentifying inefficiencies across the business andberesponsible for implementation of technical solutions by working closely with the Technical Program Manager. Your changes will have impact on the way people work. What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the execution of the ISO 9001 audit plan for Energy Remanufacturing.Help drive cross-functional programs to implement changes in compliance to the Quality Management Systemand identify areas for improvement
  • Support problem-solving by analyzing failure modes, driving timely corrective and preventive actions, and ensuring permanent resolution
  • Manage multiple cross-functional action items while aligning stakeholder expectations and building consensus on changes
  • Strong track record of training and developing teams, fostering a culture of quality awareness and accountability.Help drive quality KPIs, including SCAR cycle time metrics and other business operations related measurements
  • Organize and schedule calibration requirements for monitoring and measuring devices
  • Collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams to define functional and timeline requirements
  • Thrivein and contribute to a collaborative work environment, working cross-functionally to achieve shared quality objectives
  • Drivecontinual improvement of theQualitySystems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial,Systems,Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, etc.) or other technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 3+ yearsof experience in ISO 9001, and auditing required
  • Demonstrated success in applying quality problem solving methods such as fishbone diagrams, FMEA, process capability analysis, hypothesis testing, DoE, SPC, etc
  • Well-organized with attention to detail
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in power electronics manufacturing environments is highly desirable
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • 3+ years as a Quality/Operationsengineeringposition in a fast-paced manufacturing environment or equivalent experience
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment by establishing and enforcing operational standards and procedures
  • Driven, Integrity, enthusiasm, and team spirit with flexible mindset to change, create or adapt to new processes
  • Understands and implements lean manufacturing principles
