DomainTools is hiring a Software Engineer to join our Engineering Team. Additional Context The Frontend Team at DomainTools is responsible for a React client and a PHP server. This role is primarily focused on working with the PHP server, but engineers will need to work in the full stack., * Write efficient, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices.

• Build and maintain applications using best practices for Laravel (PHP) and React (TypeScript).
• Integrate frontend applications with APIs, backend systems, and databases.
• Contribute to both new product development and enhancement of existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, documentation, and design feedback sessions.
• Develop expertise in customer-facing products and platform capabilities.

• 3+ years of experience developing modern web applications.
• Knowledge of software architecture and experience implementing programming patterns.
• Strong experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES7+) and TypeScript.

• Deep knowledge of:

• Object-oriented, functional, and procedural PHP 7+
• API integration and consumption

Experience with React 18+ and Redux.

Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks such as PHPUnit and Jest.

Proficiency with Git and collaborative version control workflows.

Experience working with Docker or other container technologies.

Pluses

• Familiarity with Vite configuration.
• Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with end-to-end testing tools such as Playwright.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with styled-components (or other CSS-in-JS libraries).
