AI Software Engineer

Insight Global is seeking an AI Software Engineer for one of our largest clients based in the Cincinnati area. The ideal candidate is local to our Farmington Hills, Michigan (outside of Detroit) location to be hybrid onsite 3x/week. Remote candidates will be considered for highly qualified individuals.

This role is will be critical in helping to build infrastructure supporting AI agents and contribute to future agent development work across the enterprise., * Build and support AWS infrastructure for the AI platform.

• Provision and manage cloud resources using Terraform.
• Support processes for agent onboarding, authorization, and access management.
• Build integrations between applications and cloud infrastructure (e.g., S3, permissions, access controls).
• Assist with implementation of agentic AI capabilities and future AI agent projects.
• Collaborate with the team responsible for AI platform expansion from MVP to broader enterprise adoption

• 5-8+ years of experience within IT
• Software Engineering with TypeScript/ JavaScript AND/OR Python
• Infrastructure engineering experience, including:
• Cloud resource provisioning
• Application-to-infrastructure integrations
• Storage/services such as S3
• Access management and permissions
• Understanding how applications consume infrastructure components
• Supporting platform-level deployments in AWS
• AWS
• Terraform
• Experience using AI tools (GPT, Claude, etc.) as a practitioner/user - Banking or finance industry background
• AWS Bedrock.
• LLM Guardrails / AWS Guardrails.
• AI Gateway experience.
• MCP (Model Context Protocol) server development.
• Experience building agents or agent workflows.
