Requirements

to customer requirements, using CAD to create 3D models and 2D drawings, potentially with the benefits of CFD analysis.Manage allocated projects, including raising purchase orders for materials and equipment, and overseeing prototype builds and testing.Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure a smooth transition into manufacture, ensuring processes meet customer requirements.Support the Sales Department by providing technical expertise when required.Maintain and archive all customer-related information in accordance with departmental procedures.Work in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.Ensure 5S housekeeping standards are maintained in areas under your control.About you:A bachelors degree in mechanical engineering is essentialUp to 3 to 4 years engineering experience in a design, development and manufacturing environmentFamiliar with the use of CAD to generate 3D models and 2D drawings.Experience of Ansys or similar software would be an advantage.Highly numerate and computer literateExcellent analytical problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsKnowledge of 3D CAD design in Machined components or AssembliesWhilst not essential, a knowledge of thermodynamics and Computational Fluid Dynamics would be usefulBasic knowledge of Electrical aspects of engineeringTPBN1_UKTJ
