Job description

A client in HSV, AL and Franklin, NC is seeking an experienced SW engineer to join our engineering team supporting the design, development, production, sustainment, reverse engineering, and remanufacturing of rugged military-grade embedded computing systems and automated test equipment (ATE).

Requirements

B.S. degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

5+ years of experience developing software for embedded systems or rugged electronics

C/C++, Python, or similar

Experience working with hardware/software interfaces, device drivers, or real-time embedded environments. Experience with firmware development or real-time operating systems (RTOS).

Familiarity with automated test equipment software development.

Knowledge of DoD standards, cybersecurity requirements, or secure coding practices.

Experience with reverse engineering or legacy system modernization.

Version control and CI/CD experience (Git, Jenkins, etc.).
