IT Quality Assurance Analyst Sr.

Our direct, Fortune 100 client is hiring for a Senior QA to be responsible for performing a range of software testing activities including API, UI, and SQL database testing. The role is open to fully remote but candidates but must be willing to work ET hours within the United States.

Ability to query data in SQL to validate expected assigned work.

• Splunk to query data to identify errors in testing.

• Ability to use Postman to verify results for expected API testing.

• Knowledge of common testing methods, testing tools, terminology, and industry practices

• Knowledge of data structures, data management practices, system interaction patterns and interfaces.

• Knowledge of various corporate security rules, legal and regulatory obligations, or standards.

• Knowledge of using software packages or tools for processing or displaying data (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL Queries).

• Ability to assess implications of proposed systems changes on the processes and factors related to the insurance business or common business functions (e.g., marketing, sales, and financial controls).

• Analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data from various sources to determine next steps.

• Organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignment simultaneously.
