Job description
- Requirements Analysis & Systems Architecture: Analyze user requirements, Concept of Operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications; manage system and derived requirements to ensure delivery of production systems compatible with defined system architectures (DoDAF, SOA, etc.).
- Technical Leadership & Design Integration: Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities; guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies; provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology; incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
- Documentation & Planning: Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation; contribute to systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents; guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans; assist with development of system and functional requirements and their allocation to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
- Government & Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts; hold ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables within your systems engineering area; communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
- Configuration Management & Cross-Discipline Coordination: Coordinate resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination., * Drive: Passion and energy to implement quality technical solutions. Requirements
- Demonstrated experience developing system requirements specifications from user requirements, Concept of Operations documents, and high-level system architectures.
- Experience with system architecture frameworks and approaches such as DoDAF and SOA.
- Experience producing systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, Interface Control Documents, and system integration and test plans.
- Experience allocating system and functional requirements across hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
- Experience coordinating action items across Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience interfacing directly with Government stakeholders, program personnel, and senior executives., * Commitment to Quality: Passion to conceive and produce world-class solutions that drive real-world value for the customer
