Analytic Developer

Partner directly with analysts and technical stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translate requirements into software solutions. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using Python and Jupyter Notebooks. Build reusable software components, APIs, and analytic capabilities that integrate with enterprise mission systems. Develop scalable data processing workflows that automate manual tasks and improve analyst productivity. Rapidly prototype new capabilities and transition successful solutions into operational environments. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies-including Generative AI-to modernize analytic workflows. Participate in Agile development while continuously improving application performance, scalability, and usability.

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong software engineering experience developing applications with Python and Jupyter Notebooks. Experience developing scalable, production-quality software solutions. Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and deliver innovative solutions in an Agile environment. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Ability to work onsite in Fort Meade, MD.

Desired / Nice to Have Experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar coding assistants. Java development experience. Experience applying Generative AI (GenAI) or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to operational problems. Familiarity with mission analyst tools and intelligence workflows. Experience rapidly prototyping and transitioning capabilities into production environments.

Salary Range: $180,000-$200,000, depending on experience level, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
