Job description

Where You Will Work: Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center. Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline. AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be in-office 5 days a week to support the team., The Temporary HRIS Analyst / Project Support Specialist will provide hands-on support for HRIS operations, people data management, reporting, and year-end integration-related initiatives. This temporary role will report to the Senior Director of HRIS and partner across the business to help ensure employee and organizational data is accurate, complete, secure, and ready for key business processes., * Support HRIS operations, including reporting, data audits, and approved system updates.

  • Perform Excel-based gap analyses and quality checks to identify missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate employee, position, organizational, and system data.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets using advanced Excel functionality, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, conditional logic, and reconciliation techniques.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute recurring and ad hoc HR reports to support HR and business decision-making.
  • Provide project support across HR, HRIS, Payroll, Operations, and other teams involved in year-end readiness and integration activities.
  • Help maintain project trackers, issue logs, status updates, and other working documents to support visibility and follow-through.
  • Follow established data handling, confidentiality, and compliance practices when working with employee and organizational information.
  • Perform other related project support tasks as assigned.

If you’re inclined towards more challenging tasks and aspire to exceed expectations, our environment may align better with your ambitions, join us!, The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large, complex datasets; highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiar with HRIS platforms and HR processes; and able to identify discrepancies, reconcile data, document findings, and translate information into meaningful insights. This position requires someone who can work independently, manage competing priorities, communicate effectively, and support multiple project workstreams with accuracy and discretion., * Strong Excel proficiency, including experience working with large data sets, formulas, filters, lookups, pivot tables, and data comparisons.

  • Experience performing data audits, gap analysis, data cleanup, or similar analytical work.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and core HR data structures; experience with UKG is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort supporting guided HRIS configuration tasks, data imports, data corrections, or workflow changes under direction from HRIS team members.
  • Ability to detect inconsistencies, errors, and missing information in HRIS and workforce data.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track work through completion.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and ask thoughtful follow-up questions.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience supporting HRIS, Payroll, Talent, or People Operations projects.
  • Experience with year-end People Operations, payroll, and compliance activities.
  • Experience with system integrations, HR data conversions, and post-integration data validation.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced project environment with evolving priorities and deadlines.
