Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and backend business logic using .NET (C#)
  • Build and manage ASP.NET Core-based services for data processing and system integration
  • Implement data integration workflows across multiple systems and components
  • Work with radiology data structures and clinical workflows
  • Integrate AI Agent outputs and external AI-driven results into the platform
  • Handle demo study loading, data orchestration, and end-to-end data flow
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, AI teams, and clinical stakeholders
  • Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of backend systems
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code

Requirements

  • Strong experience in .NET (C#)
  • Solid experience in API design and development (RESTful services, Web APIs)
  • Experience with data integration and workflow orchestration
  • Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with radiology workflows and data structures
  • Basic understanding of medical imaging standards (DICOM)
  • Exposure to healthcare systems and interoperability standards

Preferred Skills

  • Experience integrating AI/ML outputs into production systems
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services (App Services, Functions, API Management)
  • Experience with messaging systems (AWS Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Knowledge of HL7/FHIR standards
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in medical imaging platforms or radiology viewers
  • Familiarity with real-time data processing or streaming systems
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Ownership mindset with attention to detail and ability to work independently

Benefits & conditions

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $120,000 - $130,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period., As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
