Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to support a leading technology and engineering organization delivering advanced digital transformation, software, and industrial solutions to U.S. government and defense customers. This position requires 50% travel in the form of 2 weeks onsite in St. Louis, MO, followed by 2 weeks offsite/remote. As an Infrastructure Architect, you will serve as a technical leader responsible for designing, deploying, and sustaining complex enterprise PLM environments supporting advanced digital engineering initiatives. You will work hands-on across PLM applications and the underlying IT infrastructure, ensuring secure, stable, and highly available environments while troubleshooting critical issues and supporting ongoing modernization efforts. Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Architect:

  • Deploy, configure, administer, and sustain Teamcenter solutions across complex enterprise environments.
  • Build and maintain PLM infrastructure across servers, networks, databases, application tiers, virtualization, identity/access, and cloud technologies.
  • Stand up, maintain, and upgrade test and production environments, ensuring security, availability, stability, and performance.
  • Provide technical support for Teamcenter, NX, Opcenter, Capital, and related applications, owning issues from intake through resolution.
  • Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues through ticket triage, log analysis, root-cause identification, and technical escalation.
  • Collaborate with end users, SMEs, administrators, and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues and support enterprise deployments.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree along with 5+ years of enterprise PLM and/or IT infrastructure experience.
  • 3+ years deploying and maintaining Teamcenter products, or 5+ years with comparable enterprise PLM platforms.
  • Hands-on Teamcenter deployment, administration, configuration, and production support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Teamcenter Environment Manager (TEM) and Deployment Center.
  • Strong enterprise infrastructure experience across Linux/Windows Server, networking, virtualization, web/proxy servers, and cloud environments.
  • Experience with identity/access technologies, enterprise application platforms, databases, and automation/scripting.
  • Experience building, maintaining, and upgrading enterprise PLM, ERP, and/or MES test and production environments.
  • Ability to independently deploy, troubleshoot, and sustain complex, highly available PLM environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% in the form of working onsite in St. Louis, MO - 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off*
  • Active security clearance OR eligibility to obtain government security clearance*
  • Preferred:

  • Knowledge of DoD Cloud Computing SRG and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Experience supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) initiatives and compliance documentation.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
