Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Mobile iOS Engineer to support our clients home grown scanning technology. This individual will help design, develop, integrate, test, optimize, and deploy mobile scanning capabilities, including Single Continuous Scan, Multi-Scan, ID Scanning, and camera-capture performance improvements.

The engineer will work with technical and business stakeholders to evaluate existing scanning workflows, gather requirements, identify dependencies, contribute to solution design, and deliver production-ready functionality. The role requires hands-on development, integration testing, performance validation, documentation, and support through production deployment and project transition.

Requirements

8+ years of mobile software engineering experience
iOS development experience
Mobile SDK integration experience
Production deployment and support experience
Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills - Experience with barcode scanning, computer vision, camera APIs, image capture, optical recognition, or device-based identification technologies.
Experience working with Bluetooth or NFC (near field communication)
