The UX Designer is an individual contributor on our Product Design team, working alongside Product Managers and engineers to craft intuitive, polished experiences for PDQ’s SaaS web products. You’ll support the full design process, from understanding user needs to delivering high-quality UI, helping IT teams around the world work faster and with greater confidence in our tools.

How you might spend your day:
- Partner with Product Managers to gather and refine project requirements, ensuring designs align with both user needs and business goals
- Conduct user research and customer interviews to validate ideas, gather feedback, and inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web features, iterating based on user and team feedback
- Work closely with engineering teams to answer implementation questions and help ensure the final product matches the design intent
- Stay current on UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices, continuously bringing fresh thinking to your work
- Participate in agile ceremonies - sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives - to keep design in sync with development
Requirements
- 2-4 years of product design experience on customer-facing web SaaS products
- Experience collaborating with Product Managers and engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate user flows and design intent
- Proficiency with Figma for design and prototyping
- Portfolio (including at least one case study showcasing UI and UX abilities) required with application, * Experience designing for IT, developer-focused, or enterprise SaaS products
- Familiarity with device management, endpoint security, or similar IT domains
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
- Exposure to design systems or component libraries

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills., The majority of PDQ’s full-time roles do not qualify for sponsorship of employment visas such as the H-1B visa. This applies to scenarios where a candidate might possess temporary work authorization during their schooling or after graduation (e.g., CPT, OPT), but would require H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment to retain eligibility for employment.
