Job description

Design, maintain, enhance, code, and migrate relational databases.
Develop and maintain:
Queries.
Stored procedures.
Database jobs.
Data structures.
Data models.
Database schemas.
Support databases operating in both cloud and non-cloud environments.
Support migration of databases to cloud platforms.
Analyze information and data requirements.
Define:
Data elements.
Data relationships.
Data attributes.
Data flows.
Storage requirements.
Reporting/output requirements.
Develop logical and physical data models.
Perform data acquisition and data-access analysis.
Develop archive, recovery, and load strategies.
Coordinate new data-development activities.
Ensure new data structures integrate consistently with existing ELRS data structures.
Analyze requests for data and data usage.
Research potential new and improved data feeds.
Optimize database performance, maintainability, and accessibility.
Develop screens and database queries where required.
Test database-related applications and changes.
Support hardware/software upgrades and maintenance when applicable.
Provide database technical support and guidance to project users and technical teams.
Serve as a technical/task lead when required.
Provide problem-solving support and technical guidance to junior staff.
Develop and maintain:
Entity Relationship Diagrams.
Data models.
Data dictionaries.
Database/system documentation.
Technical specifications.
