Act as the escalation point for technical issues that cannot be resolved by the 1st and 2nd line support team
Provide hands-on 3rd line infrastructure support and troubleshooting
Monitor and maintain Servers, networks, cloud services and other core infrastructure
Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents, performance issues and service outages
Manage system updates, patching and routine infrastructure maintenance
Support user access, permissions and identity-management activities
Monitor backups and assist with disaster-recovery and business-continuity processes
Support infrastructure security, vulnerability remediation and compliance requirements
Manage technical changes in line with established change-control processes
Liaise with 3rd-party suppliers and managed-service providers
Maintain accurate technical documentation, support procedures and infrastructure records
Provide technical guidance and knowledge-sharing to the helpdesk team
Assist with smaller infrastructure improvements and projects where capacity allows

Strong infrastructure and 3rd line support experience
Experience acting as a senior escalation point for a helpdesk or desktop-support team
Broad technical knowledge across desktop, server, network, cloud and security environments
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage incidents through to resolution
Experience working with 3rd-party technology suppliers
Previous financial-services experience is preferred
Able to work independently and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
