Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience with Linux systems administration or infrastructure support.\n
  • Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.\n
  • Familiarity with Git and configuration-management tools such as Ansible.\n
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\n
  • Basic knowledge of Redhat Satellite or SUSE Manager .\n
  • Familiarity with Bash or Python scripting.\n

  • Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of install Linux systems\n
  • Discussing Linux server systems and upgrades with IT managers\n
  • Installing or upgrading Linux systems and servers\n
  • Providing technical support for internal customers\n
  • Troubleshooting system and server errors\n
  • Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors\n
  • Maintaining server architecture\n
  • Will create and maintain a highly robust automation system and identify other areas of mundane and repeated implementations / operations tasks and will integrate them into the automated systems\n
  • Will track and report all incidents, problems, outages, and successes\n
