Job description
This is not a break-fix role. As a Security Infrastructure Engineer at ADRM, you will be embedded as a trusted technical expert for our clients - owning the health, performance, and continuous improvement of enterprise physical security systems across some of the most demanding environments in the country.
You will partner daily with client stakeholders, IT teams, and systems integrators to ensure security infrastructure operates at its highest potential. You bring technical depth and a client-first mindset.
What You’ll Do
- Own the daily management, monitoring, and optimization of Access Control and Video Management Systems (VMS) across client environments
- Manage service tickets end-to-end, from intake through resolution and quality inspection with a relentless focus on client satisfaction
- Prepare and deliver clear, actionable reports on system health and performance trends for client leadership
- Collaborate with ADRM teams, client IT departments, end users, and systems integrators to drive successful implementations and upgrades
- Proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities across client security platforms before they become problems
- Represent ADRM in client meetings and calls with technical credibility and strong professional communication
- Support project management activities during system deployments and technology transitions
- Participate in client on-call rotation as needed to ensure continuity of service
- Travel to client sites as needed to support implementations, system commissioning, and relationship-building
- Partner with peers and leadership to maintain client priority lists and track critical path items
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise physical security systems, including Access Control and Video Management Systems
- Certification(s) in C-CURE, Genetec, Milestone, Axis, or other leading access control and video management platforms
- Experience with physical security system implementations and commissioning
- Strong familiarity with visitor management and intrusion detection platforms
- Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, firewalls, and virtual machine environments
- Experience with Office 365 and enterprise IT environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client priorities, service tickets, and deadlines with precision and calm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you can translate technical complexity for non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, distributed team
- Ability to walk long distances during site visits and commissioning
Benefits & conditions
- Work alongside a team of experienced professionals who take their craft seriously and support each other
- ADRM covers 100% of health, dental, and vision insurance premiums for team members AND their dependents - one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry
- Robust 401(k) plan with a generous company match and profit sharing
