Senior Full Stack Java Developer (React & Node.js) - Hybrid

• Lead end to end technical solution design by applying deep expertise in core Java Spring Boot Spring Core React Js Node JS and REST web services to deliver robust and scalable enterprise applications in a hybrid work environment.
• Oversee development activities by translating business requirements into efficient technical implementations using PL SQL mySQL and core Java that consistently meet performance security and maintainability objectives.
• Provide guidance to developers on application architecture patterns by promoting modular design code reuse and clean coding practices that enable long term sustainability and easier feature expansion.
• Drive integration of backend services and APIs by designing and implementing REST web services that support seamless communication between distributed systems and external platforms while ensuring reliability.
• Ensure front end excellence by coaching the team on building responsive and accessible user interfaces with React Js that improve user satisfaction and align with modern hi tech product standards.
• Manage backend service reliability by optimizing Spring Boot based microservices and Node JS components to achieve stable performance efficient resource utilization and straightforward observability.
• Promote secure and resilient deployments by using Linux based environments configuration management and scripting to streamline builds automate deployments and reduce manual errors in day to day operations.
• Coordinate code reviews and quality assurance activities by enforcing consistent coding standards comprehensive unit and integration testing and timely defect resolution that collectively raise overall product quality.
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders by providing clear technical input on solution tradeoffs estimations and implementation plans so that project timelines and business outcomes remain predictable and achievable.
• Optimize data access layers by designing PL SQL mySQL structures queries and procedures that improve application throughput minimize latency and sustain data integrity for complex transactional workloads.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new frameworks libraries and development practices within the hi tech domain and recommending pragmatic adoption paths that enhance engineering effectiveness.
• Support operational stability by analyzing production issues performing root cause investigations and implementing durable fixes that reduce recurring incidents and improve overall customer experience.
• Mentor team members by sharing practical insights design patterns and troubleshooting techniques that accelerate skill development and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and shared ownership.

Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future, * Possess strong hands on proficiency in core J ava Spring Boot Spring Core REST web services and PL SQL mySQL with demonstrable experience in designing and delivering complex enterprise systems over several years.

• Demonstrate practical experience with React Js and Node JS by building scalable front end and backend components that integrate securely with APIs and data services in hybrid deployment environments.
• Apply solid understanding of Linux operating environments by using command line tools scripting and basic system administration practices to support reliable application deployments and monitoring.
• Bring prior exposure to hi tech or similar technology driven domains where product reliability performance and innovation are critical enabling quick alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Show capability in modern development practices such as version control automated testing and continuous integration so that team workflows remain efficient transparent and consistently productive.

The annual salary for this position is between $46K - 93,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
